HPUMC Children's Ministry Newsletter - February 2, 2012

From Candace Winslow . . .
It has been an incredibly exciting week in our ministry!!  God answered every, every, every prayer for our State of the Children’s Ministry meeting on Sunday.  Thank you for your wonderful gifts of prayer, presence and encouragement!  If you missed the meeting, a video recording - along with the slides presented - is available by clicking here.

The entire month of February we will be phasing out “HP Kids” and embedding our new name – “D6 Families” - throughout our ministry.  This Sunday, we will unveil D6 Families to all of our kids via fun prizes and a short video presented to the Elementary kids.

Other exciting things this Sunday, February 5th at church:
  • I will lead the children’s sermon in Cornerstone at both services …..hope your kids will join me on stage for a bit of fun as we discuss temptation, which is the focus of Paul’s next sermon series.
  • Food Drive will kickoff in our ministry….read further details below!
  • 11:00 Elementary Parents:  look forward to an exciting newsletter coming home with your kids discussing changes we will be making to the 11:00 hour at the end of February that will only strengthen our teaching!
God is leading us in so many exciting ways and every day I am serving Him with you, I remain completely energized for where we are headed.  We are amply, amply blessed…..not the least of which is the blessing of being a part of this wonderful church family!  God’s ministry, our partnership!

In His love!
