Studies begin
Thursdays 9/9 - 30 “Theology of Clint Eastwood” - Lunch & Movies Noon to 3 p.m. in Great Hall. Clint Eastwood is turning 80, and not stopping. Since reaching "retirement age" he has produced deep works worthy of Christian reflection. We will watch and discuss four of his movies in Great Hall. The movies will be Gran Torino, The Unforgiven, Million Dollar Baby and Invictus. Lunch will be at noon ($10) followed by the movie and discussion. RSVP the day before the movie to Richard.

Thursday 10/25 Authors Live - Garry Wills reviews his new book, “Outside Looking In”. 7 p.m. in Great Hall
Thursday 11/23 “Thanksgiving Luncheon “American Songbook” with Chris Brunt and Roy Johnson. Noon to 1:30 p.m. in Great Hall
Thursday 12/16 “Advent Service & Luncheon” 11 a.m. Service in Cox Chapel followed by lunch in Great Hall

9/5 “Senior Follies” - Eisemann 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. We will bus to the Eisemann for the Spectatcular Senior Follies. ($35 for the bus and orchestra ticket) A great afternoon of song and dance, and the cast is our own Rod and Beth Pirtle!
9/14 “Maya the Fiery Pool & Mystic Sea” - Kimbell 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. We'll go by bus to the Kimbell and Amon Carter.
10/4 “Old Homes, Old Bones & Dr. Pepper” Waco 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by bus to Waco.
10/7 “State Fair of Texas” 9 am to noon, or noon to 5:30 p.m. OR stay all day and see what's happening at the Fair!
11/4 “Old Town 3” - Waxahachie 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by bus.
12/11 “Christmas Time” - Grapevine 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by bus to see the Christmas display.
12/21 “Christmas Lights Tour” - Park Cities 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Take a tour around the church at the beautiful Christmas lights.
