Volunteer Opportunities
Wesley-Rankin Community Center in West Dallas is looking for loving and compassionate adults and teens to tutor and mentor in their after-school program. No experience necessary, just an open heart and a willingness to embrace these students and help them achieve the education they need to succeed in life. Sometimes that little bit of encouragement can change a life. Tutors are needed from 3:30-6:30pm Mondays-Thursdays at Wesley-Rankin's Sarah Wilke Youth Center. If you're interested, please contact Nathaniel O'Dell at nathaniel@wesleyrankin.org or 214-742-5739.

Donation Drop Looking for a place to serve on a regular basis? The Donation Drop needs volunteers to commit to a regular weekly, bi-weekly or monthly shift to sort and deliver donated items. The Donation Drop is the collecting spot for donations of all kinds - clothes, small appliances, toys, books, food, housewares, etc. Dedicated volunteers make sure that each item finds a home and that the in-kind needs of the organizations we serve are being met. If you are interested, contact Jean Boney at donations@hpumc.org.
Donation Needs
The Donation Drop needs your coats! Drop off your gently used coats at the clothes racks by Wesley Hall, the Sanctuary or the Donation Drop on the 3rd floor. It's getting colder out there each day, please remember those who are on the streets all day and all night and those children who are forced to wear coats that are too small or worn for them because their parents cannot afford new ones. All coats donated will benefit clients and families served by One Man's Treasure, Crossroads Community Services, Exodus Ministries, Austin Street Shelter, and more.
