Children


"But Jesus called for them and said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.'"

Cornerstone believes that just as children are a part of the kingdom of God, they should be a part of our worship services.  Children of all ages are always welcomed to be in Cornerstone and to participate in worship as part of our community.  We love for families to include their children when a family member gets baptized, and for parents to bring their kids down when we have Holy Communion. 

Every Sunday, we provide activity packets for those who want them, and there is a convenient room just off Wesley Hall where parents can let their kids play and still watch the service.

Every fourth Sunday of the month, we have a Children's sermon in the service, just after the announcements, where kids can come down and listen to a message just for them.  And we know how much kids love the music in Cornerstone, so after each service, kids are welcome to come on stage, meet the band, and maybe even drum a beat or two!

HPUMC has a great Children's Ministry for birth up to 5th grade, and a great day-care during the week.  You child is sure to have a wonderful experience at HPUMC and Cornerstone!
