How do you define leadership? What leaders have molded you? What do you look for in a leader?

Dictionary.Com defines a leader as “ a guiding or directing head, as of an army, movement or political group.” But sometimes real leadership means more than having followers.

Some pundits say they’ve noticed a ‘leadership vacuum’ among today’s figureheads in culture, government and business. If so, how can we as followers of Christ step into that gap and model the kind of leadership Christ typified for His church?

In October of 2009, a new HPUMC men’s group was started to explore these topics – and many more – related to Christian leadership.
