We're glad you are considering worshiping with us! We are a "come as you are" service, open to families of all sorts. Here you will find helpful information for getting to the church, parking, options for kids, Sunday morning classes, and who to look for for more info once you're here!

Location & Directions
We are located at 3300 Mockingbird Lane in Dallas, Texas, on the northeast corner of Mockingbird Lane and Hillcrest, next to the SMU campus. Click on Locations and Directions in the top right corner to get directions to the church!

Where to park
At SMU's busy college campus, parking near Mockingbird and Hillcrest can be a challenge! Parking is available
- in the parking lot just north of the church
- in the garage of the Meadows Museum (northeast of the church)
- at the Biggers Building and Recreation Center (northwest of the church and across Hillcrest)
- at Moody Coliseum (on Airline Road on SMU campus)*
- on any of the beautiful Park Cities streets where there is not already a "No Parking" sign
*Shuttle service is provided from Moody Coliseum to the church.
We recommend you arrive 15 minutes early before the service so you have plenty of time to park and find your worship service.
HPUMC Children's Ministry
Our KidCare and Children's Sunday School programs are staffed by a great team of professionals who will ensure a positive and caring environment for your children! If you have children and would like them to be involved in these areas please click here for room number information and assistance.
Children in Cornerstone
We love having kids in worship with us! The atmosphere is perfect for them to join their parents, with easy access out of the place if they get bored, and a room just off Wesley Hall where they can play and parents can still watch the service. We provide clipboards and crayons for kids at the tops of the aisles that they can take to their seats and use to color or draw during the service.
Every fourth Sunday of the month, we have a Children's sermon in the service, just after the announcements. We welcome kids of all ages to come down and listen to a message just for them! And we know how much kids love the music in Cornerstone, so after each service, kids are welcome to come on stage, meet the band, and maybe even drum a beat or two!
HPUMC Youth Ministry
HPUMC's youth ministry falls in three areas: our 6th grade Confirmation program, led by Rev. Walt Marcum, our middle school ministry for 7th and 8th graders, and our senior high ministry. With activities, mission projects, and events throughout the week, our youth program is a great way for kids to connect to one another and to God. HPUMC Adult Sunday Morning Classes
The Adult Sunday School program provides you with opportunities to connect with other church congregants, to learn together, to fellowship, and to serve in a small group.
