Cornerstone Institute Is The Center Of Our Theological Education!

We aim for all individuals to experience progress and to... “Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.” (2 Peter 3:18)

To facilitate this transformative journey, we create educational settings that enhance people’s comprehension of God’s narrative in Scripture and the fundamental principles of Christianity.

How do we do this? We offer seven core classes.

Intro To Theology
In this class, you will learn about the core doctrines of the faith. Gain a deeper understanding of your beliefs so that you can confidently answer the question, "What do you believe?" Equip yourself to think through these topics and express your faith with clarity.
Everyday Counseling
Most of us don’t consider ourselves to be counselors. Friends, sure. Parents; some of us. Group Leaders; yeah. But not counselors. The problem is that most of us have an inaccurate idea of what Counseling really is. A helpful definition of counseling comes from Heath Lambert when he says, “Counseling is a conversation where one party with questions, problems, and trouble seeks assistance from someone they believe has answers, solutions, and help.” Under this definition of counseling, we all find ourselves functioning as counselors on a regular basis: with our friends, our kids, our coworkers, people in small groups. Introduction to Biblical Counseling is a class designed to equip you to offer biblical help to those who need it. We will learn how to approach counseling situations, helpful processes for discerning root issues, and tools to apply the truths of God’s word to the needs of everyday life. The class will include: Weekly reading assignments, Primarily from Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands by Paul David Tripp Lectures, class discussions, and homework assignments.
